Description

"Delicately fruited and elegantly expressed, the bouquet shows lemon peel, white nectarine, almond and subtle savoury notes. The palate is vibrant and finely textured, and delivers restrained fruit intensity backed by bright acidity, leading to a lingering crisp finish. At its best: now to 2019" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Nov 2017

Clear pale color with bright hue. The nose is fresh with lime and lemon notes. Very fresh attack on the palate with a crisp acidity, delicate aromas of white flowers and a beautiful aromatic persistence on the finish.

This Vintage 2017 was marked by a great precocity. A hot and dry spring, leading to an early flowering, this earliness being maintained until the maturation of the grapes. The malbecs presented a very nice phenolic maturity with beautiful colors from the middle of March. So, winemakers decided to harvest early to preserve the freshness and natural acidity of the grape, with relatively low alcohol, giving wellbalanced wines.

Pressing is done quickly to avoid maceration, and thus limit the extraction of color. The must is clarified naturally using cold treatment, then fermented it at low temperature with selected yeasts. Aging on fine lees for 3 months in stainless steel tanks with weekly pump overs to finish giving body and volume in the mouth.

Food Pairing: Tapas, Melon and iberico ham salad, cucumber veloute with ginger.

very good

Nice light pinto gris. Lacks a bit of depth but for the price it's definitely value for money.
