The palate delivers excellent fruit concentration and weight, wonderfully complemented by refreshing fruit flavours and bright acidity, finishing long and attractive. "Bright, very pale straw colour with slight green hues. The nose is softly full and harmonious in presentation, showing a fine, concentrated core of passionfruit and fresh herbs along with hints of tropical fruit and snow peas, unfolding nuances of cut grass and nettles. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the fruit flavours are stylishly expressed with a softly concentrated core of passionfruit, herbs and snow peas with nettle and grass emerging. The mouthfeel is soft with subtly drying textures with integrated, but refreshing acidity. The wine carries with good depth and presence to a softly full, passionfruity and nettly finish. This is a very harmonious and gently concentrated Sauvignon Blanc with soft passionfruit, herb, cut grass and nettle flavours on a fresh, but smooth, dry-textured finish. Match with herb-marinated seafood and poultry dishes over the next 2 years. Marlborough fruit cool-fermented to 12.5% alc. and 3.4 g/L RS" Raymond Chan, Sep 2017

"Bright, clear, near colourless with slight green hues. The nose id very delicate with tightly bound aromas of white stonefruits and pears, exotic florals along with some fresh fermentation esters. The aromatics build in intensity in the glass. Dryish to taste and medium-full bodied, the palate is taut and concentrated with subtle flavours of white stonefruits and pears, along with florals and lifted esters. The wine has soft textures with balanced acidity, and good linearity that caries to a light finish. This is a fresh and youthfully taut, dry Pinot Gris with fragrant stonefruit, floral and esters, on a fine-textured palate. Serve with Asian and Middle Eastern fare over the next 2-3 years. 1 x Summerhouse Central Otago Pinot Noir 2017

Underlying savoury oak notes complement the ripe dark cherry and plum aromas. The palate is full fresh dark fruits and spicy oak. Medium-bodied and softly textured, with mourish acidity.

Carefully harvested in the cool of the night to help preserve the fresh flavours from the vineyard. Cold soaked to extract the desired flavours, tannins and colour. The wine cap was plunged two to three times a day to extract colou and tannins from the skins. Select parcels were then allowed to macerate for an additional twoto five days, further extracting colour and flavours after fermentation. Once pressed the wine was matured in a combination of French and Hungarian Oak.

Food Pairing: Try with grilled pork loin chops, chicken Provençal or a roasted vegetable salad.

1 x Summerhouse Marlborough Pinot Noir 2015

Awarded Gold Medal: NZ International Wine Competition 2016

An elegant and complex Pinot Noir with lifted aromas of bright cherry and berry fruits, savoury oak and wild thyme influences. Silky and textural, the palate is rich and full with dark berry fruits and an underlying bramble and spice aspect Gentle acidity frames the ripe, silky, tannins for a lovely, lingering, finish.

This wine comes from the renowned Southern Valley sub-region of Marlborough. The hillsides, with their ancient, clay laden soils, are perfect for crafting exquisite Pinot Noir. In the winery, a small batch focus allows for careful flavour management and varietal expression. Select yeast strains preserve the expressive flavours from the vines and careful fermentation management resulted in a beautifully balanced wine. The wine was pressed off skins, underwent malolactic fermentation, and left to mature in a selection of new and seasoned French Oak barriques for 9 months. The wine was then minimally fined, gently filtered and bottled.
