Pale pinky yellow with light green hues in the glass with an inviting bouquet of pear and lychee notes with a touch of spice make for an appealing nose. This delightful Pinot Gris has a juicy palate with pear and lychee flavors balanced with a clean and pure mineral finish.
This wine is produced from vineyards in the Hawke’s Bay high country region of New Zealand. The soils are rocky ancient river beds with a mix of free draining stony soils and clay loams. this vintage saw a scorching hot summer, which provided rich flavors, and cool evenings led to crispness and good structure.
Food Pairing: This wine goes down well with spicy Mexican or barbecued seared scallops.
