Description

"This is super friendly and easy going; nicely lifted aromas of watermelon, red apple, peach and subtle spice lead to an attractively fruited palate that is juicy and refreshing. It is fruit expressive and flavoursome with a hint of sweetness and well pitched acidity. At its best: now to 2018" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Oct 2017

"The panel found more harmony than chaos in this medium style Marlborough expression. Watermelon, toffee apple and berryfruit notes play in concert alongside an overt herbal theme. Firm acidity balances the sweetness and provides backbone" Cuisine Magazine, New Zealand Rose Tasting 2016

Bursting with vibrant strawberry and red cherry aromas that leap from the glass. The palate is beautifully balanced, combining concentrated fruit weight with fine mineral acidity and an off dry finish.

A fine settled growing season produced wonderfully concentrated and expressive fruit. The near perfect weather conditions ensured harvest began in the last week of March and was completed by mid April.

Made from a blend of Pinot Gris and Merlot, the grapes were harvested in the cool hours of the morning. The berries were gently pressed to extract colour, with the juice fermented in stainless steel vats to retain vibrancy and freshness.
