Barrington's 2017 vintage of their River Block Pinot Rose is very balanced wine with a burst of red fruits and a long persistence on the palate. It has elegant aromas of red fruits, raspberry, watermelon and floral notes no the nose. It is off-dry with 5.8g/l of residual sugar.

Conditions in the Alexandra Basin are challenging with semi-arid soils and the most extreme temperatures in New Zealand, they do however, provide the opportunity to produce wines that display the unique character of the region of which the newly released rose is no exception. This elegantly styled wine was crafted by Barrington's award-winning winemaker, Antony Worch. The 100% Pinot grapes were hand picked by Barrington’s families and friends at their single vineyard block.
