This luscious Marlborough Pinot Gris displays aromas of baked apple and pear crumble with a touch of cinnamon and spiced ripe apricot. Fresh and baked apple combines with a hint of ripe pear and apricot sweetness. The finish is dry, refreshing and luscious.
The grapes were sourced from a selection of low cropping vineyards in Marlborough’s Wairau and Awatere valleys and harvested at optimum flavor ripeness, but before the sugar content was too high. This allowed a lower alcohol wine to be produced. It was then fermented in stainless steel at cool temperatures to retain fruit flavor and freshness. The wine was lightly fined and filtered prior to bottling.
Food Pairing: This wine is ideal as an aperitif or well matched with a cheese platter or seafood.

Disappointed that it was a low alcohol - I guess that is the risk you have to take. Perhaps next time you may mention it is is low alcohol.
