Description
The nose shows typical rosé characteristics of red cherries and lush strawberries. The palate is perfected balanced between acid and sugar following through with strawberries and cherries from the nose.
This rosé is made using Pinot Noir grapes pressed using saignée and cold pressing techniques after extended skin contact. It is 100% barrel fermented in old French oak. Each parcel is individually fermented with wild yeast in older French oak barrels. After fermentation, the barrels are brought together in tank before bottling. A total of 6 different parcels provide the complexity and texture of this fine wine. The 2017 Rosé carries Organic Certification with BioGro NZ.
Food Pairing: This wine is to be enjoyed not sipped, an ideal summer wine, best served chilled. Great when combined with canapes such as salmon croquettes & Serrano Ham wrapped plums!
