A lifted nose of ripe black currants, and sweet black cherries mingled with a touch of toasty oak. Bright and lively with flavours of dark fruits, dried herbs and an inviting fresh coffee finish. This wine has well integrated oak and balanced acidity. The velvety tannins and fine persistant flavours provide good focus and length.
These Pinot Noir grapes were harvested from several vineyard sites in Marlborough. The wine was hand plunged frequently throughout fermentation. Once malolactic fermentation was completed the wine was carefully blended and gently prepared for bottling.
Delicious with roast pork belly, tomato pasta or apple crumble.
Drink now or will cellar well for at least another three to five years from vintage date.
