1 x Escarpment Martinborough Pinot Noir 2018

Perfume, elegant fruit flavours, and soft ripe tannins are all hallmarks of this exceptional Pinot Noir. A typical Martinborough summer has created the distinctive Escarpment style showing complexity, attractive texture and the perfect mix of black, red and green fruit flavours for which Pinot Noir is celebrated.

Inspired by the classic wines of Burgundy, this Pinot Noir is a tribute to Martinborough’s unique terroir. It will cellar gracefully for up to 10 years.

1 x Quartz Reef Single Vineyard Central Otago Pinot Noir 2018

awarded 93/100 points & 5 Stars: Bob Campbell, Master of Wine, Real Review, May 2020

Awarded 92/100 Points: Joe Czerwinski, Wine Advocate, Feb 2020

Awarded Silver Medal: New Zealand Organic Wine Awards, Jul 2020

"Reasonably light in colour but certainly not lacking power, with dark cherry, violet, blackcurrant and spicy oak flavours supported by bright acidity and peppery tannins. A youthful wine that would benefit from bottle age" Bob Campbell, MW, The Real Review, May 2020

“The 2018 Single Vineyard Pinot Noir is a terrific effort, marrying attractive floral and tea-like aromas with bright raspberry and cherry fruit. It’s medium to full-bodied but seems lighter and fresher because the flesh is wrapped within a sleeve of crisp acids, containing and buttressing it, focusing it into a prolonged finish. Despite the warm vintage, this is impeccably balanced, with the ability to age well for a decade" Joe Czerwinski, Wine Advocate, Feb 2020

Divine ruby red in colour with aromas of raspberry and cherry. Rich on the palate with cherry, blackcurrant and subtle spice. An elegant wine with bright acidity, fine tannins and a long vibrant finish.

1 x Rapaura Springs Reserve Marlborough Pinot Noir 2019

AWARDED 93/100 POINTS & 5 STARS: Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Aug 2020

"It's gorgeously ripe and perfumed on the nose showing dark cherry, toasted nut, clove and dark mushroom characters, followed by a beautifully supple palate that's succulent and smooth. The wine offers terrific fruit purity with elegant complexity, finishing long and flavoursome. At its best: now to 2023" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Aug 2020

Aromatic and rich with dark cherry and plum, complemented with subtle savoury characters. The palate is full of juicy berry fruit flavours with velvet tannins.

1 x Craggy Range Te Muna Vineyard Martinborough Pinot Noir 2017

Awarded 98/100 POINTS: Roger Jones, Decanter

"Craggy Range Te Muna Road Pinot Noir, Martinborough, 2017 is a dream, I gave this a mark of 98 in a recent tasting of New World Single Vineyard Pinots for Decanter Magazine. The balance between savoury and luscious fruit with perfect acidity, gives a near perfect silky Pinot" Roger Jones, Decanter

Vibrant red cherry with a crimson hue. Complex aromatic array of dark rose, plum, cherry, tree bark and wooden spices. Supple palate entry with attractive varietal red fruits and lovely tension from the fine tannin profile. A joyful wine full of charm.

Food Pairing: Match this rich red with dishes featuring duck.

Alc - 12.76%

1 x Greenhough Stone's Throw Nelson Pinot Noir 2017

Fragrant, spice-‐drawer, orange citrus and cassis aromas. These also carry to the palate. The palate is fresh and defined with flavors of blackberry and brambles, savoury notes and a supple structure of well-‐bound tannins. Fine and long on the finish.

Alc - 13.65%

1 x Framingham Marlborough Pinot Noir 2018

Earthy nose, subtle oak, reminiscent of smoked meat, with light florals and vibrant light red fruits. Subtle dark cherry and red berry flavors with savoury mineral/graphite-like notes. Fine, well integrated and delicate tannin structure.

Framingham Pinot Noir tends to a more “feminine” style displaying grace and charm with strongly varietal flavours and some good structure to add interest.

Food Pairing: Duck, lamb, charcuterie, salmon.

Alc: 13%

Great service thanks

Beautiful mix of top New Zealand wineries and their Pinot Noir's. It's nice to try a variety from all around New Zealand. Each wine is unique in their own way - bit hard to comment when they are all different.

So far Ive only had the Framingham PN, Thorburn PN and Rapaura Reserve PN. The wine from Nelson was great and beyond expectations with great bouquet and length. The higher priced Te Muna Road Craggy, Larry McKenna Escarpment & Rudy Bauer PN from Bendigo are perhaps a bit young & have been put away for another 2-3 years
