Description
"This is seriously good. Fresh and fragrant, the attractive bouquet shows ripe pear, nectarine, rockmelon and floral aromas, leading to a succulent palate that is beautifully weighted and silky. The wine delivers excellent fruit purity, brilliantly enhanced by refreshing acidity and rounded mouthfeel" Sam Kim Wine Orbit
"Full, even, light straw-yellow colour with suggestions of gold and a blush to the hue. This has a soft, restrained nose that possesses good vinous presence, showing aromas of ripe yellow stonefruits and yellow florals, entwined with honeysuckle notes and nuances of rose-petal florals, musk and spices. A fresh, minerally element emerges to provide depth and brightness. Off-dry to taste, full, rich and bright fruit flavours of tropical fruits, yellow stonefruits, pears and honeysuckle fill the mouth. The fruit is supported by fine, grainy, phenolic textures, and along with some alcoholic power drives the palate with mouthfeel and depth. The acidity is integral, and along with the structure carries through to a fulsome, concentrated and dry-textured, honied finish. This is a mouthfilling, off-dry Pinot Gris with ripe, honied flavours and some phenolic structure." Raymond Chan
Gentle alpine floral notes with aromatic ripe stonefruit and spice. Off dry to dry style with a succulent and rounded palate. Luscious pear, quince and mango notes with a rich texture and mouth feel, finishing clean and dry.
This wine is delicious on its own, or with semi-hard cheeses, chicken dishes and spicy Thai numbers
