Bright, very pale straw on release. Aromas of ripe lemon and citrus flavours, with a distinct mineral note. Delicately bodied and refreshing. Great structure and
nicely balanced acidity leading to a long lingering finish.
Sourced from vineyards located in the Blind River area of the Awatere Valley and our own Falcon Vineyard in the Wairau Valley. The fruit was especially targeted
and picked at an average of only 19.8 brix to retain the fresh citrus flavour.
Long cool controlled ferment which was stopped with 26 grams of sugar per litre remaining to give a low alcohol of 9.5%.
