Aromas of gorgeous black and red cherries and floral notes combine with aromatic spices. The palate is warm and smooth with an explosion of juicy plums and fresh black currants. These fruit flavours are combined with balanced acidity, fine structured tannin and a smooth textured finish. This wine underwent malolactic fermentation and oak treatment in a mixture of new and aged French oak. Drink now or patient cellaring will reward over the next three to four years.
Food Pairing: Well matched with a lamb rack, barbecued sausages or shepherd’s pie.
