Château Haut-Maginet is a family estate based in Soussac, in the Entre-Deux-Mers region of Bordeaux. The Jolivet family began with twenty-seven hectares back in 1981, and through selecting the best neighbouring vineyards have built the estate up to its present 103 hectares.

On the opposite side of the Gironde to the First Growths of Medoclie the vineyards of Blaye. The prestigious Ch du Haut Guerin has been a flagship of this appellation since 1871. The iconic Bordeaux winemakers , Coureau et Coureau have been able to achieve the best expression of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon in this exceptional Cru. A pleasant nose of blackcurrants and blackberries go hand in hand with a herbaceous quality and menthol finish. The palate is full with supple tannins and a long elegant finish. Enjoy over the next 3 years.

GOLD MEDAL: Gilbert et Gaillard

Elegant, well balanced and beautifully rounded, this wine has a pretty ruby red colour and a bouquet of dark fruit. It is full on the palate with smooth tannins.

The Duchess of Berry, a member of the French royal family, lived for many years in Bordeaux, where she used to welcome her guests with the best local produce. Today this tradition is carried on by "Duchesse de Berry" which remains one of the most welcoming of wines from Bordeaux.
