Aromas of ripe red cherries, passionfruit and hints of ripe blackcurrant.  A crisp and fresh palate showing delicate wild strawberries and ripe cherries following through to a long lingering finish. A refreshing summer wine to enjoy chilled on a summer’s day or to compliment a BBQ of fresh seafood and salads.

This Rose is a blend of Riesling and Malbec taken from selected vineyard sites. The fruit was machine harvested in the cool of the night in order to retain fresh fruit flavours. The grapes spent just a few hours on skins to extract the lovely colour of pale pink, then carefully pressed. After settling the juice was fermented in 100 per cent stainless steel at cooler temperatures to retain fresh fruit flavours. At the end of ferment the wine was stabilized, filtered, and carefully prepared for bottling.

Perfect for drinking immediately this wine will be at its best over the next two years.
