This classic collection includes the following:

1 x La Vieille Ferme Rouge 2016 (France)

Beautiful red color, with purple highlights. With a lot of freshness, this rich and spicy wine offers red and black fruits aromas (blackberry, black currant). The palate is beautifully balanced, crunchy, with silky tannins and a very long and aromatic finish. The Perrin Family, also owners of the famous Château de Beaucastel, search for the most suitable terroirs to produce a fresh and fruity wine. Unpretentious, this is the archetypal pleasure wine. Authentic, genuine and tasty.

The terroir varies according to altitude but consists for the most part of deposits left around the base of the chalky Mont Ventoux by the seas of the Tertiary period. Red Mediterranean soils blend with chalk debris and round stones. Grapes included in this blend are Carignan, Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah. The 2016 vintage in the Southern Rhone valley is exceptional, both in terms of quality and quantity, thanks to idyllic weather conditions that protected the region from climatic accidents throughout the whole year. The process for making this wine is adapted to suit each wine, grape variety and producer. Nearly all the grapes are lightly crushed and fermented in cement vats of 150 and 300 hectolitres. The fermentation is classic and extended.

Serving suggestion: 17°C with a spontaneous meal and for enjoyment.

1x La Vieille Ferme Rose 2016 (France)

Beautiful bright and shiny colour with green undertones. Floral nose and delicate notes of white-flesh fruit (apple and peach), great aromatic freshness. The mouth is rich and balanced, with great minerality. The finish is long and persistent.

1 x Summerhouse Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2016

Our Sauvignon Blanc is fresh and exudes lifted aromas of ripe citrus, passionfruit and snow peas. The palate is full of juicy passionfruit and blackcurrant flavours, plus a herbal element that enhances the generous palate. An attractive, underlying mineral aspect underscores the lovely flavours and is a signature of the sub-regional sources. This is a complex wine, softly textured with gentle acidity, the fine fruit flavours linger through to an elegant, textural finish. 13.5% Alcohol.
