Description
"It is instantly appealing on the nose showing nectarine, fig, vanilla and hazelnut characters with subtle butterscotch nuances. The palate is succulent and flavoursome, and offers creamy mouthfeel and silky texture, finishing long and delicious. A lovely generous style offering terrific value. At its best: now to 2019." Sam Kim, Wine Orbit. March 2017.
An elegant Chardonnay with aromas of citrus and white peach with a touch of toasted hazelnut. A fresh style, displaying stone fruit and rockmelon flavours with subtle vanilla notes and a long steely finish. Fruit driven with a hint of underlying oak.
Harvested from some of the highest performing vineyards in the foothills of the Wairau Valley. Perfect for drinking immediately this Chardonnay will be at its best over the next two to three years.
An easy drinking wine that will compliment roast chicken with autumn vegetables or any white meat dish.
