This is comforting and delicious with juicy peach, rockmelon, citrus and pear flavours, beautifully enhanced by vibrant mouthfeel and smooth texture. Wonderfully balanced and expressed, offering excellent value and drinkability. At its best: now to 2018. March 2017.
Sourced from Marlborough vineyards with grapes harvested in their optimal condition. The grapes were transported to the winery and fermented in 100 per cent stainless steel tanks to ensure the fresh fruit flavours were preserved. The resulting wine is bursting with pure flavours of poached pear, and honeyed quince with a hint of spice leading to a lingering succulent finish.
Pleasing to the palate now and will also remain in its prime for the next 2-3 years. An approachable aperitif style but also well matched with a variety of cuisine including some creamy cheese or lightly spiced Asian dishes.
