Once again Waimea has produced an intensely aromatic wine, it has wonderful aromas of yellow roses, fresh Turkish delight and possibly ginger. These characters follow through onto the palate and are strung together by a chalky minerality typical to the plains and a fine phenolic structure which provides a grounding for this flamboyant wine. Juicy acidity balances the off-dry style and draws the wine out to a lingering finish. Enjoy as a conversation starter or with dishes you wish to highlight the spice in.
