Bright garnet red, this wine has an expressive nose full of red cherry and blackcurrants with hints of aromatic spices and savoury oak.
Medium body with juicy fruit flavours of ripe red raspberries, cherries and toasted spices. Round and full on the palate with a long savoury finish.
Made from Marlborough fruit harvested at optimum flavour maturity. The wine was frequently hand plunged through ferment and underwent 100 per cent malolactic fermentation.
Drinking well now this wine will also cellar under careful storage conditions for approximately three years to five years from vintage date. Well matched with roast lamb or spaghetti and meatballs.
