A bright garnet red in the glass, this wine has an expressive nose brimming with red cherry and blackcurrant as well as hints of aromatic spice and savoury oak. Medium bodied with tantalising juicy fruit flavours of ripe red raspberries, cherries and toasted spice. Round and full on the palate with a long savoury finish.
Made from Marlborough fruit harvested at optimum flavour maturity. The wine was frequently hand plunged through ferment and underwent 100 percent malolactic fermentation. Drinking well now this wine will also cellar under careful storage conditions for approximately three years to five years from vintage date.
Food Pairing: Well matched with roast lamb or spaghetti and meatballs.

Love this wine. I have been a Shiraz drinker for 30 years but have become allergic to it. This is the nicest wine at this price range than I can now drink??

I keep purchasing this wine as it is consistently good, easy drinking, lovely fruit flavours and goes with most meets especially those cooked on the BBQ.
