Fruit for our 2013 Chardonnay was selected from premier vineyard sites throughout the Central Coast. This wine has fruit-forward aromas of crisp apple, lemon custard, and tropical fruit. The hint of toasted oak adds depth and character to the palate. Pair this wine with a lemon-herbed grilled chicken or on its own for a refreshing evening.
The Central Coast AVA is one of the largest and most important grape grow-ing regions in California. Its boundaries stretch from Santa Barbara County in the south all the way up to San Francisco in the north. With a climate that is cool, windy and arid, thanks to the in uence of the ever-present Paci fic Ocean, it’s no wonder that Chardonnay accounts for half of the total acreage planted here. By sourcing fruit from a variety of vineyards with di erent growing conditions, we are able to make a more complex and balanced wine.
