Description
"A well-priced, entry-level Burgundy, this is elegant and crisp dry with citrus, apple, flint and almond characters, nicely supported by linear mouthfeel that is focused and lingering. Gentle, yet persistent on the finish with refreshing acidity. A lovely aperitif style. At its best: now to 2017." Sam Kim Wine Orbit
The slightly toasted perfumes of vanilla brought by the maturing in barrels do not conceal the citrus flavours mixed with white flowers’aromas. At first, a surprising strength and fleshiness for such an appellation. Then, a touch of nervousness that highlights a fruity and balanced character Chardonnay amateurs will love drink it young but it may also be aged for a minimum of 5 years.
The wine may be served as apéritif and will match with fish and poultry dishes.
