Blackcurrant, hints of liquorice and chocolate. Distinctive blackcurrant fruit, hints of liquorice and earthy notes combined with chocolate oak produce this fulfilling wine that leaves you with fine tannin and a lingering fruit finish.
A terrific season throughout Victoria with relatively warm, dry conditions and balanced crops. Monitoring of the vineyards allowed the winemaker to pick the fruit when flavours reached their peak. Average 7 days on skins at 25.0-30.0°C and 100% Malolactic Fermentation.
