Description

  • Off-dry style
  • Melon
  • Lime
  • Crisp lingering finish

A bright fruit palate of citrus and green apple with a crisp lingering finish. Fresh cut apple, melon, lime & spring flowers.

Once harvested, the grapes were transported to the winery, gently pressed, then settled in tank. The warm fermentation was started with selected yeast strains. Following the ferment the wine was left to mature on full lees fro up to three months to enhance structure and mouth feel. After blending the wine was fined using natural methods and prepared for bottling.

Dusky Sounds is a unique and magical place, teaming with bird life, its geography, steep sided mountains and deep water give Dusky Sounds a mystical quality quite unlike anywhere else in the world. Today using this backdrop for inspiration Dusky Sounds is building a reputation for producing fresh, fruit-driven quality wines. Their Chief Winemaker, Simon McGeorge, is enthusiastically continuing their focus and passion to make easy drinking styles of wines that are suitable for everyday occasions and cuisine.
