IF YOU LOVE Cotes du Rhone you will LOVE this new find!

On the palate it is full, plummy and well-structured with firm tannin and warm notes of oak thanks to a four month period of barrel ageing. With a long and fresh finish, this wine is certainly easy drinking but tastes more 'serious' than the price suggests!

The winemaker is Diogo Sepulveda, who has worked in Pomerol and Napa, and at 5-Star Halliday rated Turkey Flat in the Barossa.

Get the BBQ out as this beauty get the thumbs up from us!

Modern Portuguese reds offer some of the most original, tasty and best value for money anywhere in Europe. They use unique grape varieties with international stars to make fabulous new wave reds like Portuga velvety, mouthfilling and long.

Relatively low in alcohol, this wine shows immediately pleasant aromas of ripe dark fruits and wild berries. On the palate it is full, plummy and well-structured with firm tannin and warm notes of oak thanks to a four month period of barrel ageing. With a long and fresh finish, this wine is certainly easy drinking but tastes more 'serious' than the price suggests!

Portugal boasts a superb range of unique, amazing quality wines which are terrific value, too. This tasty, smooth red is from Casa Santos Lima, a grand, family run property located near Lisbon, close to the Atlantic coast. The estate was founded by Joaquim Santos Lima in the late 19th century and today, three generations later, it produces some of Portugal's finest bottles. The winemaker is Diogo Sepulveda, who has worked in Pomerol and Napa, and at 5-Star Halliday rated Turkey Flat in the Barossa.

Very enjoyable. Full flavoured and fruity. Good to drink with a meal but equally good for a wine to enjoy anytime!
