Seeking incredible value?  This is it wine people!  Leading Marlborough winery.  Certified Organic and biodynamic.  Handpicked.  A Black Market exclusive from veteran natural wine producers.  We can’t reveal the actual identity so this sensational offering is being sold as a Mystery wine but believe us once it arrives on your door step you’ll be ordering more – such is the pedigree of this artisan producer.  Deals this good don’t last long.  You know what to do..

"Darkish ruby-red colour with garnet hues on the rim.  The bouquet is full with aromas of dark-red cherry and berry fruit along with subtle notes of dark herbs, red floral and earth and, unfolding raspberry liqueur, nutty and mineral elements with aeration.  Medium-bodied the palate is up-front and vigorous with lively flavours of dark-red berry and black cherry fruit entwined with raspberry liqueur, red floral and earthy elements.  Some lift is noticeable.  The mouthfeel is robust with plenty of grainy tannin extraction and brisk acidity lending grip and texture.  The flavours are carried by the structure and acidity to a receding finish with dark-red berry and earthy flavours.  This is a vigorous and robust Pinot Noir with dark-red berry fruit flavours, lifted florals and earthy notes on a grainy, grippy palate.  Match with grilled game meat and casseroles over the next 5+ years.  The wine aged 11 months in 10% new French oak barriques.  Certified BioGro organic" Raymond Chan

"This is richly savoury and complex on the nose displaying dark cherry, game, dried herb, clove and nutmeg characters. The palate is ripe, elegantly weighted and silky with sweet fruit richness, firmly structured by fine, chalky tannins. A sturdy, savoury pinot ideally suited to partner slow-cooked meat dishes. At its best: now to 2018." Sam Kim Wine Orbit

An elegant Pinot Noir, made from 100% certified organic fruit. The nose is perfumed, with berry fruit notes and hints of subtle spice. Layered and fine on the palate, with dense plum providing a core to more vibrant black berry notes. Long and satisfying on the finish.

I was very pleasantly surprised with this wine and am enjoying it -not sure if its the placebo effect but drinking organic wine without sulfates just feels and tastes so much better ??

It would be a stretch to call this wine "outstanding" but it was certainly "excellent value for money" for a pinot noir fan.
