Black Market brings you the opportunity to experience successive vintages of Villa Maria's premium Single Vineyard Taylors Pass Pinot Noir in this exclsuive collection!
This picturesque vineyard was planted in 1999 and is located on the north bank of the meandering Awatere River, 30km south of the Wairau Valley. With soils ranging from silty loam gravels to deep, stony gravels, the vineyard consistently produces ripe and full flavoured fruit.
The wines have been hand selected by our wine makers to fully express their unique individuality and characteristics between consecutive vintage. Drinking well in their youth, they are akin to their Burgundy counterparts finding harmony and balance with age.
