"Fragrant and inviting, the attractive bouquet shows red/black cherry, raspberry, mixed spice and floral characters on the nose. The palate is juicy and beautifully rounded, and delivers bright fruit flavours and silky texture, finishing long and pleasingly dry. This is immediately appealing with vibrant fruit flavours and subtle spicy complexity". Sam Kim Wine Orbit

This Pinot Noir has it all. With heady aromas of fresh raspberries and blackberries, the palate shines with cherries and super soft tannins. The result is a wine rich in character and smooth on the finish. Depth, finesse and distinctively Central Otago.

Warm fermentation followed, with regular mixing to extract maximum flavour and colour from the skins. 100% malolactic maturation adds complexity to this Central Otago Pinot Noir, and with a soft tannin structure, this wine is approachable while young.

Mostly from the continental McArthur Ridge in Alexandra, the slopes in this region provide ideal sun exposure for our vines. Grapes were destemmed in field during harvest and spent an average of 16 days on skins, uncrushed, to develop the complex berry fruit flavours.
