Juicy aromas of white peach, apricot and toasty oak. A creamy texture with delicious layered flavours of ripe nectarine, vanilla and a fresh grapefruit lift. Lovely soft acidity, well integrated oak spice and a smooth, lingering finish.
Fruit for this Bishops Leap Chardonnay is from a selection of immaculately tended vineyards throughout Marlborough. Partial fermentation in oak and malolactic fermentation was carried out to enhance the flavours and fill the palate. This wine will cellar well for the next two to three years but is also perfect for drinking immediately. Try it with baked fillet of fish with stuffed potatoes or seafood chowder
