Description

"Well-priced and highly enjoyable, this friendly red blend shows fragrant aromas of dark plum, blueberry, dried herb and nutmeg on the nose, which lead to a juicy and vibrant palate that is nicely weighted and silky. The wine is supple and smooth, and finishes elegantly dry. At its best: now to 2018" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, July 2016

A deep purple, garnet red colour with ruby and garnet red tints in the glass. Elegant and complex with a quintessence of black berries, truffles, mocha and jammy aromas finishing on spicy vanilla notes on the nose. The palate is well balanced and rich with smooth tannins and plum flavours on a lingering finish.

Created by Jean-Claude Mas, Arrogant Frog shows the humble winemaker that with creativity, know-how and a sense of humour you can make Southern Franch wines shine around the world and give pure pleasure, at a reasonable price! Since 2005 Arrogant Frog has represented Southern France's 'Art de Vivre', mocking the French self-confidence with a nice frog, who a little bit dandy. Today selling in more than 40 countries.

This blend (55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot) comes from 15 to 31 year-old Cabernet and 16 to 35 year-old Merlot vines, which were managed with total respect to the ecological environment in the making of this wine using integrated agriculture techniques. The soils in the Languedoc-Roussillon where these vines are located are clay, limestone and gravels. Mechanical harvesting took place at night to protect the grapes from premature oxidation.
