This fresh and focussed wine delivers flavours of white peach, fig and apricot with a hint of hazelnut and a long steely finish.
Grapes for this wine come from a selection of quality vineyards throughout the Marlborough Valley. A portion of the wine was fermented in oak and underwent malolactic fermentation. This has helped produce a soft, round palate and an expansive finish.
This Chardonnay is perfect for drinking now and with careful cellaring can continue to be enjoyed over the next three to four years.
Delicious with roast chicken or baked apple pie with a good dollop of cream.

The wine is about what one can expect for the price. With a light fruit style and higher acid, it's a quaffer which will appeal to some, but not the chardonnay buff.
