Description

  • Dry style
  • Green apple & citrus
  • Honey & toasted hazelnut
  • Mouth-watering acidity

"This characterful, bottle-fermented fizz is a blend of Chardonnay, Mauzac and Chenin Blanc. Lively, it is medium-bodied, with citrusy, lightly toasted flavours that show good intensity and complexity, and a crisp, dry, sustained finish" Michael Cooper, The Listener, Aug 2019

"A delicious sparkling here offering delicate bubbles, zesty mouth-watering acidity and a hint of sweetness. It has notes of elderflower, acacia honey and soft toasted hazelnut as well as flavours of green apple and citrus fruits. This would definitely be a great apéritif wine but as it has a gourmet feel it would work excellently with food and pair well with salmon, prawns or any fresh fish dishes" Decanter Magazine, Jul 2020

This Cremant de Limoux is made according to traditional method with long in-bottle ageing for a minimum of 12 months.

The wine has a yellow-gold colour with green tints and fine lingering bubbles. The nose is fresh with a mix of white flowers, white flesh fruits (peach and green apple) citrus fruit aromas.

The palate is characterised by a nice unctuousness and a frank and vivid sparkle. This sparkling wine is powerful, well-balanced with toasted notes of hazelnut on the finish. Enjoy with seafood and white meat, or combine perfectly with chocolate desserts.
