An elegant Chardonnay with aromas of white peach, fig and toasted hazelnut laced with a hint of savoury oak. The palate is rich and savoury with stone fruit flavours, pineapple and a hint of butterscotch. An attractive easy-drinking style with a long, lingering finish. Fruit for this wine was harvested from a select number of Marlborough vineyards. The wine is partially barrel-fermented and some nutty oak notes support the bright fruit flavours.
Match with seafood and poultry over the next 3-4+ years from vintage date.

Lovely bouquet, and exquisite uplifting fruit tones to entice anyone. Smooth and silky on the palate, with a clear and wonderfully lingering aftertaste.

Having tasted a bottle of the 2014 vintage a month ago, which alerted us to this very good label, this 2015 vintage is every bit as good. This vintage has more citrus character, but retains the full bodied mouth feel of the previous one. Top wine at a good price.
