Description
"An estate that continues to ratchet up the quality level in all of their cuvées, Domaine Maby's 2014 Lirac la Fermade Rose is a smoking blend of 70% Cinsault and 30% Grenache that spent 6 months in stainless steel. It has terrific notes of wild strawberries, salty minerality and assorted floral nuances to go with a medium-bodied, rounded, textured, yet beautifully fresh and pure style on the palate. It has the class to drink nicely on its own, but should shine on the dinner table with food. Give the depth here, I suspect this will have a more Tavel type of evolution, showing best in another couple of months, and then have 1-2 years or longevity. It's also more than reasonably priced, so don't miss grabbing a few of these."
