"Sweetly fruited and attractively fragrant, the bouquet shows raspberry, watermelon, rockmelon, and citrus peel characters. The palate delivers excellent weight and rounded mouthfeel, together with pristine fruit flavours and bright acidity, finishing long and silky. A lovely richer style. At its best: now to 2022" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Oct 2020
"From pinot noir grapes grown on the Pisa subregion. Deep-tinted rose. Reasonably weighty, textural wine with crushed raspberry, watermelon and subtle spicy flavours. A full-flavoured rose in a dry-ish style" Bob Campbell, Master of Wine, Real Review, Aug 2020
This Rosé shows cherry and bramble flavours supported by fine acidity and fruit richness. Best served chilled.
The vineyard where this Mystery wine hails from was established at the turn of this century and exclusively planted with Pinot Noir grapes to capture what Central Otago has become world-famous for.
This Rosé was created using the finest handpicked Pinot Noir grapes. These were gently whole bunch pressed and the resulting juice fermented slowly to retain flavour and finesse.
Food Pairing: For a truly gourmet pairing, match with ham, leek & gouda soufflés.

This is an exceptional Rose, lots of colour and taste making it an ideal Winter Rose. To be consumed by 2022 so get in there and grab a case or two at this bargain price.

Please do not relegate this wine just to a 'girls night out' as I did - in my opinion is the best tasting Rose for the price and would be enjoyed by all. Lots of body and presence, and although the label is uninspiring, never judge a book by it's cover! In fact keep the label as it is, to appeal to the masculine, who should not miss out on this wine.

Nice wine but a bit too much colour and fruitiness for me.
