A fruit driven Chardonnay with complex flavours of white nectarine, nashi pear and a touch of spice. The palate is well balanced, generous and complex with an elegant structure and refined lingering finish. The lengthy palate offers juicy layers of tropical and ripe stone fruit with spice notes.
Fruit for this wine was sourced from several quality vineyards within Marlborough’s Wairau Valley.
The wine was partially fermented in new and seasoned French and American Oak barrels. Each barrel underwent malolactic fermentation to add depth and give fullness to the palate.
