Description

  • Toasty oak
  • Stonefruit & brioche
  • Honeysuckle
  • Rich texture

"Beautifully restrained with elegant complexity, the bouquet shows apricot, fig, vanilla and hazelnut aromas with a hint of spicy overtone. The succulent palate delivers flowing mouthfeel and creamy texture, finishing lingering and refined. At its best: now to 2026" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Feb 2022

Lively aromas of white peach, honeysuckle and brioche with flavours of stone-fruit, ripe citrus and subtle toasty oak. A balanced acidity with rich texture and complex flavours create a long, sustained finish.

After gently pressing, the juice was cool settled and then the clear juice racked to tank for a cool fermentation. Post ferment, the wine was left on yeast lees and stirred periodically for a few weeks to add texture and mouthfeel. It was then blended and prepared for bottling.

Don’t be fooled by his look, Mister is a modern Hawke’s Bay love story. The love of the grape, the land, the adventure and the road that led you there. Slightly left of centre, Mister is as clever as it is curious, as bold as it is beautiful, dapper in dress-sense only and modern to the core. So, banish the kerchief to your back pocket and settle in. Understated, never. Magnificent, always.

Not up with their other labels. Prefer Quarter Acre. I thought I was buying Te Awanga, but received Mister. Not bad though.
