A bronzed Rosé showing an attractive nose of red berries and a lift of vanilla. On the palate there’s a core of ripe berry fruit with good concentration and bright acidity. it ends dry with a good concentration of flavour.
Fruit sourced from vineyards in South Australia. The Funky Monkey range of wines have been uniquely hand-crafted using only high-quality grapes from premium, dry-grown South Australian vineyards. This ensures the resultant wines remain vibrant and full-flavoured once the process of removing the alcohol has been completed.
If 2020 was all about the heat, then 2021 will be remembered as the wet season. In many parts of Australia, it was unseasonably wet in winter but not at critical times to do damage nor impact the resultant ripeness of the grapes. A cool and dry summer meant even ripening was achieved between dry and rainy spells and the ensuing fruit quality was excellent and for once yields were up making for a bumper harvest in 2021.
Funky Monkey is a contemporary range of wines developed to be richer in antioxidants, and zero the alcohol. Funky, the monkey on the label says: it’s the hottest thing to choose a funky Rosé with no booze. This is super cool juice with the alcohol removed so you can stay longer in the groove. Winemakers have created a way that you can have a big, juicy Rosé without the hangover. This wine has no alcohol, no animal products and is grown with no pesticides.
