“Mellow, medium-bodied and quite mature Rioja with vanilla, dark berry, savoury and beef tea flavours. The 24 months in oak has rounded off the edges and helped produce a moderately complex wine. Good value at this price” Bob Campbel, Master of Wine, Real Review, Aug 2021

“A wonderful rendition of Rioja, the complex bouquet shows dark berry, vanillin oak, cake spice and cured meat notes, followed by a concentrated yet refined palate offering gorgeous flow and excellent persistency. Beautifully polished with a prolonged savoury finish” Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Aug 2021

This wine is 100% Tempranillo. After selecting the best small bunchs, temperature controlled fermentation and maceration is carried out in stainless steel  to preserve fruit freshness before maturation  for 18 months in American oak barrels and 36 months bottle aged before release.

Palacio Oriente is a label of Bodegas Valoria, located barely 5 kilometres from Logroño in the prized region of Rioja Alta.
