Description
Combines traditional botanicals of Juniper, Coriander and Angelica Root, along fresh rhubarb and the citrus explosion from locally grown grapefruit & orange. On the tongue, a fresh peppery spice from Kawakawa & Horopito.
After distillation, the original recipe is steeped with fresh, locally grown rhubarb for a sweet, but tart, fruity finish on the original recipe.
Hidden in the rural village of Waitoki is a small, family owned distillery where passion for great tasting spirits, experimentation and good conversation lives. The name, Washhouse Distillery, is a nod to where it all began — a backyard laundry, and the home of Waitoki’s very own gin.
