Attractive floral, dark black fruits and forest floor notes. Soft and moreish. Fine lingering tannins with a lovely savoury finish.
Apex Vineyard, Bridge Pa and Fernhill Vineyard, Fernhill gravels.
2018 growing season started very warm and dry ending in a very hot summer producing concentrated, aromatic reds.
Hand picked in batches by varietal and destemmed with 100% whole berries. Cold soaked for 4-5 days and fermented in small open top fermenters. Aged 18 months in old French oak barrels. Unfined and unfiltered.
