Description

  • Dry style
  • Lemon & lime
  • Citrus blossom
  • Crisp acidity

"Delightfully fruited and attractively expressed, the bouquet shows apricot, fig, rich floral and subtle spice aromas, leading to a supple palate offering juicy flavours and rounded mouthfeel. It's bright and smooth with ripe fruit intensity, finishing silky and lingering. At its best: now to 2023" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit

Single vineyard, hand-picked Viognier, grown in Gisborne. This is a white wine that is sure to delight. Gorgeous notes of lime, melon, lemon with stimulating citrus blossom and pear on the nose. Palate has rich concentrated fruit balanced by soft acid and a dry finish.

The grapes for this single vineyard Viognier, were hand-picked in Patutahi, Gisborne, and cool fermented in tank helping to concentrate on the fresh fruit aromatics.

Food Pairing: This Viognier will pair particularly well with seafood and rich flavoursome winter dishes such as spicy curries and Asian cuisine.

Nice and dry on the palate, yet displaying the characteristics of the viognier grape. A very good buy
