Pinot purity on offer here with a lighter colour in the glass and varietal aromas of cherry and strawberry with earthy hints and well integrated oak. The palate delivers all the supple silkiness you search for in good Pinot Noir, it’s got good structure length and acidity.
A prolonged Indian summer with cool nights led to expressive wines with great natural acidity. The season produced pristine fruit with ripe concentrated flavours. Vibrant, bristling with energy and ripe concentrated flavours is how winemakers described the 2020 vintage, with some saying it was the best quality they had seen in a decade.
Hand-picked into small bins and chilled before transportation to the winery, this wine saw a cool fermentation in stainless steel before extended maturation on lees to build texture and complexity.
Earth Mother is a homage to mother nature. Devoted guardian of our lands and our vineyards and in keeping with that theme these wines are organic and vegan friendly. Organic wines are sourced from fully certified Organic vineyards and made using minimal additions. Made with fruit from Central Otago in New Zealand, this wine has been crafted by the elements and shaped by the vast landscape of its home.
