Bishops Leap Marlborough Pinot Noir 2019 (ex Export)
Description
- Ripe raspberries
- Cherry & boysenberry
- Dark earthy notes
- Long toasty finish
Fresh ripe raspberries and sun warmed boysenberry with dark earthy aromas. A medley of ripe raspberry, cherry and concentrated boysenberry fruits on the palate. A smooth round structure with hints of spice leads to a long toasty finish. This Pinot noir can be enjoyed on release and will continue to develop complexity for the next three plus years.
The fruit was sourced from a number of specifically chosen low cropping vineyards from the Southern Valleys region of Marlborough. Leading up to harvest each vineyard was closely monitored and tasted to determine when the flavours were at their optimum and harvested in the cool of the morning.

Fantastic Pinot Noir. Smooth finish, with intense fruit - absolutely highly recommend and will be getting more!

I was pleased with wine. Now that winter is here I drink reds at room temperature, it was a little light bodied but still very enjoyable, nice berry finish. Good value for the price.
