"It's fabulously fruited and inviting on the nose showing green apple, fig, rockmelon and feijoa notes, leading to a lively palate that's flavoursome and refreshing. It's upfront and very tasty with pristine fruit intensity" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Jun 2020
Grapefruit peel, with herbal, thyme-like aromas. Subtle mineral/stone complexities complete the picture and add interest. Yellow citrus fruit, with fresh green herbs, redcurrant and red capsicum. The wine is dry, but not austere, with a generous mouthfeel.
Fruit used to make Ribbonwood 2019 Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is sourced from five Wairau Valley vineyards. Typically, Marlborough in style, it’s all fermented in stainless steel to preserve the fresh aromas and flavours that each site contributes.
Food Pairing: Ribbonwood Sauvignon Blanc is great to relax with on its own after a long day. Seafood, pairs well, but for something a little different, try pasta with Pesto Genovese.
