"Offering lovely purity and elegance, the bouquet shows red apple, jasmine and fig characters with a hint of ripe strawberry. It's juicy and light on the palate, delivering delicate fruit intensity backed by bright acidity. Restrained and delightfully drinkable. At its best: now to 2022" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Jun 2020

"Syrah rosé from the mighty Aude Valley. Carcassonne is a lovely place, and who doesn’t love a hearty cassoulet in winter, aside vegetarians, of course. Damn, it’s cold today too, I think I may have to make one. Oh, and the label looks like it’s been run off on a photocopier, homespun, though I’d be pretty sure that’s intentional.  Redcurrant, some citrus zest, flowers, strawberries. It’s fresh, subtle sweetness, a little chalky texture and a wee bit of funk, fresh, flavoursome, good length, and all round tasty drinking. It’s not from Provence, so you save a few dollars as a result. Anyway, I like it" Gary Walsh, The Wine Front, May 2020

Charismatic and blushing pale pink, it appears well within the classic Provence “pale and dry” spectrum. The nose is gloriously aromatic and sweetly perfumed with aromas of strawberries and rose petals. The palate is a seamless revelation, elegant and effortless with light berry and candied fruit drop flavours lingering long on a soft, dry finish.

A later vintage but a healthy one in the Aude Valley. Whilst elsewhere had minimal rain and some heat the south managed through above average humidity and rainfall that made for vineyard challenges but the result seemed only to have benefitted the berry development even with present disease pressure. The berries achieved full ripeness, have fine acidities and fragrant flavours. 2019 is looking excellent.
