An elegant wine with a fragrant bouquet displaying ripe stone fruit with lifted citrus. The palate is soft, round and creamy with ripe white peach and nectarine and a hint of hazelnut and vanilla bean. Medium in body with great mouthfeel and depth of fruit.
The grapes were harvested at optimum ripeness, fermented in oak and underwent malolactic fermentation. This Wishbone Chardonnay is perfect for dinking now and with careful cellaring can be enjoyed over the next two to three years.
Food Pairing: A great match with wild mushroom risotto or creamy pasta.
