"Really lovely wine with aromas and flavours of exotic red berry fruits, wild flowers, cherry and plum with a core of sandy mineral aromas. On the palate - dry and crisp with flavours of light red berry fruits, frangipani flower and mineral. A fine light dusting of chalky tannins, crisp acidity and lengthy fine finish. Lovely example and perfect for Autumn fare" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier
A pale salmon colour with slight peachy, pink hues. This has a very fresh and elegantly presented nose with delightfully delicate aromas of raspberries and rich florals along with some confectionary notes. Dry to taste and light-medium bodied, the palate is dry, fresh and youthful with delicate aromatic flavours of raspberries, bramble, cherries, red florals and sweet spice. The palate flows along a very fine, subtly textured line, leading to a light, piquant finish.
Hand picked into 10kg crates. Free-run juice separated at destemmer from whole berries. Cold settled overnight and racked straight to French Oak barrels. Indigenous yeast, barrel fermented, batonnage. 4 months in 2-3 year old French barrels.
