  • French pear
  • Well balanced

A pale yellow colour in the glass with lovely golden tints. The nose is open and expressive with notes of ripe pear and white flowers. On the palate, this wine is smooth, generous and balanced. It reveals a nice freshness as well as beautiful balance.

This Cuvee has been made from a selection of vineyard between the Mediterranean Sea and the foothills of the French Alps and the Massif Central area. In these spots, the Viognier grape is very expressive in a fresh, balanced and charming style. Made from 100% Viognier grapes, grown from 20 year old vines.

This wine comes from areas which are very sunny during the day but relatively fresh at night. This thermal alternation helps to gain a very good aromatic complexity. On the top of that phenomenon, the difference of elevation between the sea and the foothills regulate the maturation of the grapes. The soil type is mainly calcareous and slightly clay-ey.

The Viognier is hand-picked and directly whole-bunch pressed. The must is fermented at low temperature to keep varietal aromas, in thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks.

Food Pairing: Perfect as an apéritif, and with seafood and Asian dishes.
