Nobody’s Hero Marlborough Pinot Gris is a flavoursome, satisfying wine made in the Framingham way. Here, we prefer a richer, more complex style of Pinot Gris. Wine for those who just want to be themselves. Aromas of apples, pears, spice and cream. Flavours of baked apple, pear, quince and custard. Rich in the mouth (of course) with a persistent finish. Easy to drink on its own, or to match with food.
Grapes from each vineyard are picked as late as possible, when the flavours start to get interesting, without becoming completely overripe. Fermentation is carried out in both stainless steel (65%) and old barrels (35%).
Food Pairing: Rich pork dishes, or roast chicken.
