"It's bright and fragrant on the nose showing dark cherry, ripe strawberry, subtle spice and olive characters. The palate delivers juicy fruit intensity and smooth mouthfeel, making it immediately appealing. At its best: now to 2023" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Apr 2020
Lifted aromas of strawberry, red cherry, vanilla and brown spices. The palate is soft and supple with bright fruit flavours and fresh bracing acidity typical of finer Pinot Noir. Crafted to be drunk in its youth, this is perfect on its own or will also partner many cuisines.
The wine was sourced from select growers across the famed Adelaide Hills wine region with a component of other South Australian regional Pinot Noir. These southern vineyards produce a varied array of flavour profiles due to the variances influenced by the vineyard site enabling us to craft a unique blend each year. The majority of the wine is matured in stainless steel with a component aged in new and one year old larger format French oak.
Guilty by Association are the wines that I want to drink, made with people I enjoy working with, from regions we love. The viticultural diversity and natural beauty of the Adelaide Hills keeps bringing us back – the higher reaches are perfect for expressive but well balanced Pinot Noir.
